Once there was a girl in the town of Zheleznodorozhny near Moscow, a girl named Sveta who was raised only by her mother.
. Mom brought up the baby alone - the father made no attempts to get acquainted with his daughter until her adulthood. Family money was sorely lacking; From the age of twelve, Svetlana helped the working house painter, janitor and mother’s cleaner to wash the stairs for a tiny fee. In high school, she studied at the Lyceum, where her classmates were children from wealthy families. Every day in Svetlana’s soul, there was growing self-doubt, and in order to overcome her, Khodchenkova filled out a form in the model school of Slava Zaitsev

After school, Sveta wanted to become a doctor, but changed her mind and decided to become a model, but the world of modeling business had already become unpleasant for her because of its wrong side.
Once she decided to become an actress - and this decision came suddenly, intuitively. She went first to the 2-month preparatory courses at the Shchukin Theater School and enrolled in just one of all the students, Cvetlana Khodchenkova.
Already in the first year Svetlana Khodchenkova was noticed by director Stanislav Govorukhin, who invited her to audition for the film “Bless the Woman”.
Her role in this film was one of the most memorable.

Like any actress Khodchenkova, they expected not only ups, but also falls.
In 2005, Svetlana Khodchenkova took part in several projects. At first there was the role of the girl-staroderka in “The Hunters for Pictures”, then participation in the 12-series project “Realtor” directed by Alexander Khvan, in the film “Not by bread alone” by Stanislav Govorukhin and the TV series “Love Talisman” with Tatyana Arthgolts and Love Tolkalina.
Close Svetlana Khodchenkova perceived work in the "Talisman of love" ambiguous. Some thought that the girl did not have to be exchanged for "soap", while others believed that this act would help the Light to become financially independent.

The remake of The Office Romance, released in 2011, which brought together the cast of Russian comedy cinema, did not go without Svetlana - it was approved for the role of the modern version of Alice Freindlich's heroine. But - alas, despite the famous names, the rework of the Soviet classics was met very coldly. Svetlana did not manage to turn into a “callous asyma” Kalugin, her image rather resembled modern business sharks in skirts, tenacious, tough, not deprived of bitchiness and sexuality.
In 2011, foreign producers paid attention to Svetlana. Together with Konstantin Khabensky, she went to the British Isles, where she was preparing for the filming of the thriller "Spy, get out!". Khodchenkova in the image of a scout superbly played with Hollywood actors - Gary Oldman, Benedict Cumberbatch and Tom Hardy.

In 2013, Svetlana flew to Japan, this time to shoot the Hollywood blockbuster Wolverine: Immortal. Her participation in these 2 films allowed her to get a fairly good IMDb rating.
